so we make sure that they are well
if we have to we will yell
So children like us represent the future too
but also the children all over the world.

(chorus)
children need to stay with an adult in their youth.
if you can donate a few dollars to child health care
it could help pay for food, water, family, and medicine.
Then happiness for the children.
ya No more worry no more sickness. yaaaa.
now we can relax. wait no! more children are getting sick.
just donate a few more dollars.
Chorus
Rap 1: Parents really like to fuss over us.
so chilren need a parent to guide us.
and all the other chilren
i think u all want grandchildren
Chorus

Poor families can’t pay for good health
so don’t hide hoarded wealth.
people care about health care.
and the children can finally breathe some fresh air.
kids get sick and they can’t pay for good health care.
and be very aware
they need more health care
Reflections Trevor:
The group that I was in was working on the topic Child Health. I learned that every day hundred
s of children are dying just of starvation. Hundreds of children are dying from other causes like injuries,
diarrhea, and sicknesses. In India children as young as thirteen are forced to work to keep there
sisters and brothers alive. Kids are abandoned and left for dead by parents or others, some kids
are living alone in a corner of the street. Sending a little money could save children's lives every day.
We are so lucky to live in this great country. The odds of you getting thrown out of your car and
being abandoned on the side of the road is small in America, but in India it could happen very often.
I learned in my experience of making a song that you cannot always trust other people to do your
work. I also learned that you can do everything if you try to do it. I learned that you have to buckle
down and do your work. I learned how to rap. Another thing that I learned is that you can mess with
all of the beats in the rap. We learned about the technology by working with all of the microphones
and computers. I learned how to use the loops and other electronic instruments. Even thought I love
being the leader I let other kids in my group take that role. I worked well with my entire group by
cooperating with everyone. By doing all of my work, I helped my group succeed. I did well by helping
others with their problems. I can do better with my focus and concentration. Staying in my seat and not
wandering around the class is something for me to work on. That is my experience during this project.
AIdan:
In this project I worked with Trevor and Jakob. I made the video, Trevor made the music and Jakob wrote the lyrics. We worked well together. But we could’ve communicated more. I am used to being alone in projects and when I am in a group then I let other people take over and so in this project I felt like I took apart in the leadership role. I learned how to become more of a leader and not be so shy. I also learned how to do a computer project with others. I think I can take what I learned to other places and try to be more into group project.
I learned a lot of things about the equipment. I learned how to transfer stuff from one computer to another using a flash drive. I learned how to use safe search on Google Images. And I learned how to make a video. In the video I learned how to use the program I had to use. I learned how to add on music and the lyrics and pictures. I am glad I learned all of that for future use.
I learned a lot about Child Health. I learned that about 26,000 kids die each year due to bad health care or no health care at all. I also learned that child health is a bigger issue than most people think. Another thing I learned is that there are many more ways then just giving money to health care, like donating meds and volunteering at hospitals. Over all I learned quite a bit about child health.
What could’ve gone better was the equipment. When I was working on the video my computer kept crashing and it took a long time to get the video done because of that. I also think my group could’ve communicated more because at the beginning of the project the roles got mixed up and people were doing other peoples’ roles. I also think I could’ve done better on the video. I think we made more mix-ups than necessary. I feel that we could’ve done a lot better.
There are a couple things that went well in this project. One was the music and the lyrics. Jakob did an amazing job on the lyrics. Trevor did an amazing job on the music as well. I think I did well on finding the pictures but I wish I did a better job on the video. Another thing that went well was the time we had. I fell behind on finishing the video but Mrs. Tumenas made spots for me to come and finish and that worked well. I think we did an ok job but we didn't give it 100%.
Jakob: What I learned… Topic, Tech, Working with others, Did well, Can do better. I learned a lot more about Child Health Care. I also learned about rapping and rhyming lyrics. Also I learned about rhyme zone which helped me a lot with rhyming the lyrics. Working with partners helped a lot because without a partner it would be a lot more work. Also without a partner I would not have had other ideas from my partners for the lyrics. Also it was good to have a partner to share ideas with and not just rhyming ideas but also ideas for the video and the music were we would bounce ideas of each other to make it better. Lastly it was good to have a partner for the singing. I am not a very good singing so it helped a lot to have others sing to. What I did well is rhyming the words, at the start I did not know how to rhyme words together very well but after I was shown rhyme zone I learned to rhyme better. It was still not the best but a lot better than my previous rhyme's. What I could have done better is make the lyrics make more sense. Some times they got a bit of track i think. Also what I could have done better is not fool around so much. I need to improve on that.
