Have you ever thought of women and how they struggle?
They’re born in poverty, they’re born in trouble.
When a woman is born into poverty they suffer from violence also known as sex abuse. They become prostitutes, which means they get used.
Have you ever thought of women and how they struggle
They’re born in poverty, they’re born in trouble
so gender equality can be a big equation.
This isn’t just a social occasion
If that gets through imagine what we could do when men and women can all work this through.
CHORUS
Gender equality is what we need. Gender equality can become a good deed. When men and women can work as one the world be a whole better place.
Gender equality is when men and women are equal.
It can’t be unequal any longer.
The human rights of women workers are overlooked and denied.
We can’t just let it subside.
Women and men don’t have equal pay which is discrimination.
We could make a revelation.
That would make the world a better place.
==Reflections==
Dorree:
I learned a lot about young peoples struggles. If they are born into poverty they
automatically have a hard time going to school and getting a good education.
It does not mean a girl can not do well it just means that young girl has o work
extra hard to get a good education and a safe environment to live in. I also learned
that women still do not get equal pay even now. Women can work twice as hard
as men but they still do not get equal pay. We have improved on gender equality
but we still have a long way to go.
I learned that computer class can be very fun once you know what you are doing.
I learned that you really have to listen to what your classmates are saying so you
can get good feedback. I learned how to make pretty good lyrics! If I do say so myself.
I think I could have done better in listening to my teammates. I think if I listened better
than I could have had a lot more fun and could have branched out more. In tech I learned
how to do work sited. I learned that that was very important. This was my favorite
computer project because it was challenging but really fun at the same time.
I would love to do this again sometime!
Henry: From this project i have learned a lot about gender equality. For instance how super important it is to have it throughout the world because Men and Women are both humans. There's no reason they shouldn't be treated like one. On Odasity I learned how to write music and how to put it in different places. While working on this project, the people who i didn't really talk to much, became really good friends of mine. I did well at getting to know better about different sites that I had never even seen before. I could improve on getting work done faster but still do a good job.
Finn:
I learned that this is an extremely widespread problem and this is worse than just equal pay
issues. I also learned how unfairly women are treated and how people take advantage of them. I also learned that women are largely regarded as inferior and that a lot of people think only men can be good leaders and that they think men are superior.
I learned about how to use audacity. It is very different than garage band and though I do not like
it as much as garage band it works effectively. The loops were very useful and diverse and easy to
use. There were many ways I could put them together so it was very interesting. You could alter
the loops on audacity and that was fun.
When my team first got together we were immediately confused as to what was going on.
We eventually sorted everything out but even then we were still confused. At one point I believe we
all thought we were doing the music but that got sorted out and I got the job. On docs we had some
problems which was probably me typing random stuff at my teammates, Henry and Dorree
.
I believe that I did well making the music and analyzing the lyrics. Some things that I could do better
would probably be not distracting the rest of the group and focusing more on work. I could also contribute
more to the group and suggest more stuff.
