Maya:
In computer class I learned more about pollution. We made raps about a topic ( are topic was pollution). With pollution in the world we need to help a lot of people, because they are poor and have no food. This project was difficult and very fun making up rimes for the lyrics. I learned to use audacity, blabberize, and make things mp3 documents. It was fun working with Michelle and Matt on this project. I thought I did well finding pictures, and helping Matt and Michelle write the lyrics. If i did this project again I would try to make up are ideas about what we were going to do first, then find our background music, and then record. I also think we could of been more focused.
Michelle: The pollution computer project was challenging and fun at the same time. We chose to do our project on pollution because Maya, Matt, and I all love the environment and we wanted to do something to help. I learned about how pollution is a big problem and people need to do more to help. In order to make our rap lyrics I had to look up facts and pictures about pollution. I improved in computer because I learned to type faster, how to do Audacity, and blabberize. I think I worked well with my group and I made a lot of our rap lyrics. What I need to do better is that I would have to be more focused. That is what I thought of our Pollution Project.
Matt: During this project, I feel that I learned a lot about working on the computer, from rapping to compiling images. It was tough to figure out some parts of audio and visual, what with the exporting, uploading, downloading, and all that. It took us a long time to develop the song. We didn’t have much trouble trying to make the lyrics, but the audio didn’t always sound the best, which resulted in many attempts to try and improve it. Of course, with a higher quality microphone, it would most likely sound much better, but equipment like this is quite expensive and usually only used for professional purposes. After a while, we figured out the audio and video and had some “fun” trying to export a Blabber video to the project and sooner or later, we figured that out too as I moved around a few clips in the full project. It was such a relief to finally finish it and put the final version in plain sight, where I know nothing can go wrong. I hope this video makes it onto the website. (This time, I don’t have to do the sharing and saving and exporting!)
