Summary:Diseases in Africa These are the top three diseases in Africa that kill hundreds every day. Malaria is a disease that is carried and transported by mosquitoes. They will land on the unprotected skin of an unsuspecting African and will spread the disease to him or her. This disease will kill a lot more of the people unless we can buy mosquito nets for all the people in Africa. Aids is a disease that is transported by unprotected sex. it will almost always kill the victim and is a very cruel disease. Diarrhea is caused by bacterial infections, viral infections, parasites and food intolerance. We have to warn them about the causes and give them the cures and tell them what is good for them and what is bad. This might just work to keep out the diseases in Africa.
The solution to aids is for people to use condoms because western medicine is too expensive for an average African person. The solution for diarrhea is clean water and clean food which organizations provide from our donations. The cure for malaria are mosquito nets that will keep out the mosquitos that carry malaria.
Rap Lyrics
Down in Africa there’s a real big problem,
Diseases that are killin’ and people that are robbin’
There’s nothin’ they can do, ‘cept hope for the best.
They got themselves in a real big mess.
We got to donate before its too late
‘cus they pray every day but that don’t pay.
They’re dyin’ and lyin’ but we don’t care
We’ve gotta get em out of this nightmare.
We’re talkin’ bout aids and we ain’t lying
We really want to help but we just ain’t tryin’
Helping them is what we gotta do
If you’re in the mood then you can help too
Let’s give a hand to those who care
and help ‘em get on with their lives down there.
We gotta help em get over this
We got one shot and we cant’ miss
We got to donate before its too late
‘cus They pray every day but that just don’t pay
They’re dyin’ and lyin’ but we don’t care
We’ve gotta get em out of this nightmare

Reflections
I learned that there are alot of disease that kill people in Africa and that we need to help them. I learned that not everyone gets along with each other but you still need to try. I learned how to use thee new aviary music creator. - Zephyr
What I learned about A.I.D.S. is that it is a very dangerous disease that will kill people, no people have found a cure for it so it can not be cured. I also learned that A.I.D.S. usually comes from H.I.V. and one way that it can be transferred is that is through birth. The things that I learned from working in my group is that it can be very tedious. However it is also very nice to split all of the work up. I did blabberise so I learned that it is fun to splice things and that it can be funny to see the mouths move. -Cooper
I learned that there are a lot of diseases in Africa that kill lots of people every day such as Malaria, Aids and diarrhea. I learned that you can’t always use only your ideas and that I wasn’t the only person to come up with a great idea. -Jesse
