Over the past few days we were working on this project and while doing it, we learned that some people live with less than $1 a day.
The UN is hoping to halve the the number of people who suffer this between 1990 to 2015.
They are also hoping to achieve a full and productive employment for all and this includes women and young people.
The UN also cares about the people who suffer from hunger and are working to halve that number of people too.
These goals have made us think about what WE can do to help these people and we have come up with some ideas.
We could encourage some of our parents who might have important jobs to try to convince their bosses to hire more people.
Then, the poor people could get a job, earn money and buy what they need, including food if they live in hunger.
