In this project, I learned how to record with a mic, as well as learning that even as people move out of poverty, more will take their place. I also learned that teamwork requires everyone's participation, even if it seems there is nothing to do. I think that I could be less bossy to my peers. I think I did well writing the lyrics. That is my reflection on our poverty project.
Elena: I learned that millions of people are starving, and can barley afford one meal a day. Over half the population of the world is in hunger. People cannot afford food, clean water, and a house. Every second one child dies of hunger. and many have a belly disease that enlarges there stomach. I learned a lot about the technology we used too. I learned how to make a video, how to blaberize, and how to record. I also learned that it can be annoying and tough to work in a group. I think I did well on the video making, but I think I could have done better on the recording.
Hayden: One thing I learned is to record music off of an iPad. I also learned how to get a beat and edit it. The last thing I learned is to Morfo a face which is like Blaberize but you can do more with it. One thing I could of done better is to help more with the group is to help more with the video. I really enjoyed this project.
Jesse: During the Rap Project I learned a lot about how extreme poverty was and how it can affect more than just the people in poverty. I think the situation that this project highlighted is VERY bad but hopefully is getting better. I also learned how to use a few microphones. It was hard to work with others because there were four of us and we argued some, but it ended out ok. I think we did well on the video and music, but we could have done better on sounding like we were rapping.

Song Lyrics
poverty, poverty, poverty,
Remember
all the people out there
c'mon, give a care, care care
Kids have no education
all over the nation
CHORUS
help, help people losin’ jobs
listenin’ to their pleas and sobs
Poverty
some leave it
more recieve it
kids can’t do it
we gotta help ‘em through it
we’re off so good
help them we could
CHORUS
we got the will
we got the heart
we wont kill
give em a good start
we can make a difference
we can't have indifference
we adopt, we can try
we can't forget them, we can't wave goodbye
CHORUS
we can donate
we can help help help...
