Verse 1:
There are people who live
on two dollars a day
and drink dirty water
and sleep on hay
they live in slums
or makeshift shacks
there lives are not good
money’s what they lack
Chorus: these people’s lives are terrible
the conditions are unbearable
but if we just donate
some money or clothes
cause we are certainly able to...
Verse 2: We are certainly able
to help these people in need
cause these people need us
and they need to feed
when you’re poor you can’t buy food
or clean water to drink
so these people
die of disease. They have no sink!
so they can’t wash their hands
to be cured of germs
so they just end up dieing
this is a big concern
(chorus)
Verse 3: to help these people get
a better chance at life
because these people die
of disease all the time
25,000 people
die of hunger each year
it’s a terrible thing
go ahead, shed a tear!
Verse 4:
but in order to save
these poor people in need
just crying away
won’t do anything
we must act up
and do what’s right
we must help these people
and win this fight
Chorus 2:
sadf
Though these people’s lives are terrible
and the conditionsare unbearable
if we just pitch in
and fight this fight
we can chance the world
and MAKE THIS RIGHT
yes, we can change the world
and make this right

The Poverty Mirror: Reflecting on the Project
For the past couple weeks, I have been working with James K. and Ayva to make a video about poverty and a solution to stop it. Reflecting back on it, this was a good project for me. It allowed me to learn about not only poverty, but how to use programs such as Corel, and websites such as Aviary. Though it can sometimes be hard to work in a group, I think the three of us worked well together and we were able to spread the responsibility. The only part of this project that I think I could work on was trying to get it done a little faster and keeping track of our images.
Ayva: I don't think there was a leader in my group. we all had equal parts to do during the project.i learned how to use blabberize and i learned how to download a voice thing on to a website. there are a lot of places in the world with poverty. I think i could have gotten some more facts and done some of the lyrics because alex did most of the lyrics and and i only found a couple of facts so i think i could have done that better. My group worked really well together we didn't fight or argue or anything like that. Also are beat came out really good my whole group worked on that. And by the end when we had are whole video and everything else was done we were all proud of what we did.

I think I worked well with my group. We all got to do some work and I learned many things. I learned that 25,000 people die each year. I did well on making the beats but I could contribute more when we were making the video itself. I learned how to use Blabbarize much better than I thought I did. This was very fun working with these people and learned much in the process. I am proud of we did and I am happy with the project :)
