Summary: Our grouped learned a lot about the rainforest and how it is not just trees, but home to many creatures and people. It also has some of the worlds most exotic creatures. We learned that the rainforest gives off most of the worlds oxygen and without it we would die. There are thousands of people and tribes in the Rainforest and we are killing there lives and putting them in danger. We also learned ways to stop the Rain forest from being destroyed. People can buy acres to protect the wild life in it.
Rap Lyrics
SAVE THE RAIN FOREST
Don't let it die keep it alive you have to try It’s being destroyed aren’t you annoyed
Chorus
4000 footballs fields an hour Come on you have the power To stop this huge disaster Save the animals save the plants You have the chance Step up and dance
There are not many solutions This all causes pollution You can buy an acre and you can help with this confusion
chorus
Save the tree and save your self Make a change to save everyone else ⅔ of the animals and plants of the world ⅓ of the oxygen in the world
chorus
That's a rap

Reflection
I learned a lot about trees and the rain forest. I think that we worked pretty well together and we did a good job. I learned how to use audacity, aviary, and blabberize. -John I learned that the rain forest is so important that we can't afford to lose it. When we cut it down we take the homes of thousand of animals and they are going to go extinct. I learned to make the work fair or at least try to make it fair, and to get my part of the project done. i also learned how to use blabberize and audacity and more. -Neeka While making our rap on the rainforest I have learned a lot about working together, computers, and about the Rainforest. Neeka, John, and I used Blabberize to make the pictures talk, we used Corel VideoStudio Pro to put together the whole video with pictures and music, and we also used Garage Band to make the music. I also found out that computers are hard to work. This project also taught me how to work in a group. We worked really well together and all did an equal amount of work. Neeka, John, and I all worked on everything to make our rap work. I learned a lot about the disaster happening in the Rainforest. We found out about how people burn down the native tribe’s homes and use chainsaws to cut down trees. I think it is really sad that animals, and people’s homes are being destroyed. Over all I thought that this project was fun and I learned a lot from it. -Sophie
