Our students will continue to use this wiki all year long, to share digital projects which focus on their ideas for making the world a better place.
For this activity the students compose a short GarageBand or Audacity rap in groups, which is used to create a short spliced and dubbed video, focused on a global issue and one idea for making the world a better place. Each group has their own wiki page on which they upload their rap, written collaboratively in Google Docs, their rap song as an mp3 file produced in GarageBand and/or Audacity, and their final movie produced in iMovie as well as a short description and reflection. Student work can be viewed either by clicking on one of the Project List Links or by way of Manage Wiki link and going to Pages.

It is our hope that other schools will become interested in this work and take on an "A Better World" activity using some form of digital media, which can then be added to the wiki. If you are interested in your school taking part in this please contact an organiser by asking to join the wiki or via email (jennifergarcia@abc-net.edu.sv) so that we can give you access. You do not need to use the same applications that we do. These are just suggestions, there are plenty more available, many of the free.
